Course Introduction
​The world of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion is evolving constantly. To a backdrop of significant societal change and differing social attitudes, EDI in organisations is more important, and complex, than ever.
This workshop explores the most current thinking and concepts in EDI and helps participants to develop the critical capabilities required to discuss and apply EDI into their organisation. This session provides a fast-paced introduction to the world of DEI and the spectrum of reasons why DEI is good for business. We look at the potential opportunities and the risks of ignoring DEI or getting it wrong.
What will participants learn?
This workshop will help attendees to understand the key concepts and most current thinking in EDI. It covers the fundamentals of what EDI means and what the business case is for taking this seriously. Participants will learn how to be more conversant about what is relevant in DEI today alongside practical ideas for application. The workshop provides a safe pace to ask questions that you might be scared to ask elsewhere!
